I do not feel like taking a one hour train ride down, for a one
hour class and another one hour train ride home.
I used to have something like that when I was an undergrad.
Three hours on the road for a one-hour tutorial hardly makes
sense.
But since most tutors don't bother to take attendance, I
sometimes just gatecrash another tutorial at a more convenient time
slot if I can.
